Skye High Interactive

Everyone and their cousin wants to be a web designer. Skye High Interactive rises above the noise.

Oh, web design. You can get it on fiverr or you can hire a bougie San Francisco agency to do it for 100k. Founded by Becca Levian, Skye High Interactive is the perfect blend of modern sophistication with the cojones to tell it like it is. And seeing as I’m their lead copywriter, it made sense that I would write the copy for their fresh, new site. Becca’s vision for the company changed, so it needed a fresh face and a clear message.

finding its niche

Authors. Clothing Companies. Therapists. Yogis. What did most of them have in common?

Almost all of Skye High’s clients are strong, female founders. While Skye High also brands companies outside that niche, we knew we had to be bold in our strategy. So we spoke to the people we laugh with on discovery calls: women who know their way around a diaper genie AND a board room. From the home page to the FAQs, we let down our top-knotted hair, because that’s how we like to work.

illustrations to match

Custom Art? Yes, please.

Becca asked me to draw custom illustrations, and I couldn’t say no. From her Pinterest board and our hours of texting, I knew that she loved mid-century, relaxed design, and it showed in Skye High’s portfolio. We created a custom set of illustrations (and some killer animations) that made her AND her clients swoon.

dirty details

Becca’s rule: “only work with clients who you’d wanna have a drink with.”

The Skye High team is a digital agency comprised of talented designers, writers (ahem), strategists, and developers. But we’re also people who watch Ru Paul’s Drag Race on the weekend. We let our personalities show to attract the people who’ll love working with us.
